About the Foundation
As the philanthropic arm of Harrison Medical Center, the Foundation’s purpose is to build relationships that inspire charitable giving. These gifts help to support Harrison’s mission to make a positive difference in people’s lives by providing exceptional medical care … now and in the future.
Through the Foundation, every gift—large or small—is pooled and targeted to have a meaningful impact on patient care at Harrison Medical Center.
There are many ways to support Harrison Medical Center, including gifts to the Great Nurses for a Great Community Campaign, sponsorship of fund-raising events or gifts in memory or in honor of someone special. Gifts may be designated to support a specific program or may be given without restriction.
The Foundation works to:
Facilitate charitable giving to Harrison Medical Center;
Effectively administer charitable funds, including pooling funds where possible to respond to our medical center's greatest healthcare needs; and, ensure that charitable gifts are used as intended by donors;
Build relationships for the ongoing benefit of Harrison Medical Center, while serving as a conduit of information between the Medical Center and the community;
Enhance community awareness and underscore the importance of maintaining Harrison Medical Center as an excellent regional medical center.
