Employees participate by completing a pledge form and sending it via mail or interoffice to the Foundation. Gifts can be made in the following ways:
All gifts are 100% tax-deductible and gifts of any size are welcome and encouraged. Gifts can be designated to your area of choice. Refer to our Ongoing Funds & Priority Projects for a complete list to choose from. You can designate to more than one fund; monies will be divided accordingly unless specified.
Employees Only—The Boomerang Fund – See Your Gift Return
This grant-making fund is supported 100% by employee donations to provide funding for important projects and/or capital needs that have gone unmet at Harrison Medical Center. Grants are accepted throughout the year and all Harrison departments are encouraged to submit funding requests that directly impact performance around Harrison’s organizational strategic goals and patient outcomes.
Incentive Opportunity—Pledge a Cup of Coffee (just 50 a day/$5 per pay)
Employees who choose this option and/or those whose annual gift exceeds $120 per year ($5 per pay period) will receive a custom Employee Giving travel mug. Bring your mug to any of Harrison’s retail food locations and receive a discount each time you use your mug during the campaign. Watch for additional discounts throughout the year—“Mug Up for Harrison”.
The Boomerang Club is a special recognition club just for employees. The Boomerang Club recognizes employees who contributed at the “hour of pay per month” level through their support of the Boomerang Campaign at a leadership level. (Employees who work less than 60 hours per pay period may join by pledging “one-half hour per month.”) Employees receive a custom boomerang lapel pin and knowledge that they have chosen Harrison as one of their charitable choices.
