We are pleased to share this information with you as part of our accountability to the region. As a not-for-profit medical center receiving no direct tax subsides, Harrison returns any revenues we collect to the communities we serve in the form of technology, facilities, programs and services. Technical advancements, from robotic surgery to an electronic medical record, coupled with an awareness of efficiency and effectiveness, are among the ways we contain costs. Most of all, it is the stewardship exercised by our leadership, staff, and physicians that makes the difference and enables us to keep our doors open to all, regardless of their ability to pay.
