Help with Your Hospital Bills
Patient Accounts
We understand that you may have questions about or need assistance with your hospital bill. Our Patient Account representatives are available to help, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6:30 pm – excluding holidays. For questions about fees or your bill, please call 360-744-6610 or 800-281-4024 (in state only). You may also email us with any questions or concerns.

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Financial Assistance
It's our policy to make sure you are not refused the hospital-based care you need. Our financial assistance program offers care at a reduced rate or free for those who qualify. Our program offers:
  • Financial aid for Harrison services not covered by insurance
  • Assistance from trained financial counselors to help complete Medicaid applications;
  • Reduction of 38, 52, or 100 percent depending on income eligibility.

Our financial counselors can help you complete a Medicaid application by calling Harrison Outreach Services at 360-744-8788.

Applying for Financial Assistance
When completing an application for financial assistance, following the steps below will help expedite processing:

1. Please fill out the application completely

2. Attach income verification documents to the application and mail to:

Applications are processed within 14 business days of receipt and must include income verification documentation. Examples of income verification documents include:

  • Payroll statements with your gross income for the past three months, including unemployment compensation.
  • Payroll statements with gross income for your spouse for past three months, including unemployment compensation.
  • Social Security income statements.
  • A profit and loss statement if you are self-employed.
  • Documents verifying Child Support payments.
  • Proof of pension and retirement information, if applicable.

A Community Resource
Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) offers low-cost medical and dental services through clinics in Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Poulsbo. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. PCHS also accepts DSHS medical coupons as well as Healthy Options, Basic Health, Medicare, TriCare and other private insurance reimbursements.
