Breastfeeding management after hospital discharge: 2 days to 2 months

Dr. O'Hara is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine via the University of Washington who specializes in maternal and child problems related to infant feeding. Her research, patient care, teaching, and policy activities focus on optimizing maternal, child, and family health in the newborn period. She has served on the WA state Perinatal Advisory Committee, as a Board Member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, on the United States Breastfeeding Committee, as Chair of the WA Academy of Family Physicians' Committee on Child Health, and on the advisory panel for the AAP development of a national breastfeeding curriculum for residents training in OBG, pediatrics, and family medicine.
