Financial Assistance

At Harrison, we recognize there can be challenges for our patients paying for their healthcare expenses. Our financial assistance program offers care at a reduced rate or free for those who qualify.

 

Our program offers:

  • Financial aid for Harrison services not covered by insurance
  • Assistance from trained financial staff to help complete Medicaid applications
  • Self-pay patient discount


Here's how we can help:
1. Fill out and sign the Application for Financial Assistance(Informational cover letter)

2. Attach verification documents (see list below) to the application
3. Send your application to Harrison Medical Center through our
website, by fax at 360-744-6188, or by mailing to:

Applications are processed within 14 business days of receipt and must include income verification documentation.

 

Required verification documents for patient and spouse:

  • Payroll statements with gross income for the past three months,
  • complete copies of bank statements for all accounts for the past three months, and
  • complete copy of last year’s taxes, including all attachments.

A Community Resource

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) offers low-cost medical and dental services through clinics in Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Poulsbo. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. PCHS also accepts DSHS medical coupons as well as Healthy Options, Basic Health, Medicare, TriCare and other private insurance reimbursements. For information, call 360-377-3776, or visit pchsweb.org.
