Integrative Health

Optimizing wellness through integrative therapies and healing arts
Integrative health modalities have been proven to reduce pain, relieve stress, and create a sense of calm in those receiving medical care—supporting and enhancing the healing power of conventional medicine.

Harrison Medical Center offers an impressive selection of integrative health services:

Trained staff will help you choose essential oils that help alleviate pain, nausea, stress, and sleep difficulties during treatment.

An art therapist will spend time with you choosing an appropriate activity to help express emotions and your journey towards healing.

The Les & Betty Krueger Family Healing Garden at our Bremerton campus serves as a place of solace and healing beyond the patient room. Music players and a wide selection of tranquil compact discs are available to sooth the soul.

A visit from our certified pet therapy dogs can bolster moods and ease stress levels. Meet our pet therapy teams.

Relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, and guided imagery help manage pain perception and stress.

A trained volunteer will come to your bedside to offer a soft-touch hand rub. This helps you relax and emotionally unwind.

Our certified therapeutic musicians will come to your bedside and provide soothing music. Reverie Harps are available for patients to play to experience deep vibration and healing sounds.

Certified drum circle facilitators provide therapeutic drumming to local support groups to reduce stress and improve health amongst a wide range of medical conditions.

The therapeutic application of yoga incorporates breathing techniques, gentle movement, mindfulness, and meditation to optimize healing.
