Harrison Welcomes New Director of Clinical Practice and Nursing Quality, Matthew Helbert, RN, MN, CCP
BREMERTON, WA – Matthew Helbert recently joined Harrison Medical Center as director of clinical practice and nursing quality.
“I look forward to helping further Harrison’s quality innovations in patient care and nursing excellence,” said Helbert. “I am eager to support the amazing healthcare that happens here every day.”
In this role, Helbert will help to ensure that Harrison maintains high standards in patient healthcare.
“Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge in critical care nursing, case management, teaching, and leadership in high-tempo environments,” said Pam Marshall, executive director of acute care services.
Helbert worked most recently at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma leading a team to improve and ensure the quality of healthcare of wounded service members. He also worked as a nurse manager and process improvement coordinator at Madigan Medical Center and a critical care nurse and case manager at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallap, Wash. In addition, he has served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 14 years.
Helbert earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Nursing from the University of Washington, Tacoma. He holds certifications as a Chronic Care Professional from the Health Services Institute, a U.S. Army Nurse Case Manager, and a U.S. Army Instructor/Writer from the U.S. Army Medical Center & School.
