BREMERTON, WA – Harrison Medical Center and the UFCW are pleased to announce that after successful negotiations earlier this month, Harrison’s professional and technical (ProTech) employees have approved a new contract. Members voted June 26 and 27 approving a new contract by 98 percent. “While these negotiations were difficult on everyone, we're very pleased to have been able to come together on a contract agreement that is mutually beneficial," said Scott Bosch, President and CEO of Harrison. Among those items agreed upon include a contract extension for three years, until March 2017, and the establishment of the no-sympathy-strike provision, allowing individual units to strike, but preventing represented employees from striking in sympathy with other bargaining units. “This agreement allows us to continue our mission of making a positive difference in people's lives through exceptional healthcare,” said Scott Bosch, President and CEO of Harrison.
