The Orthopaedic Center at Harrison
Ortho Groundbreaking May 2012The Orthopaedic Center at Harrison Medical Center’s Silverdale campus expands our promise of exceptional healthcare by extending Harrison's award-winning orthopaedic services and ensuring state-of-the-art orthopaedic and joint replacement surgery is now conveniently located in Kitsap County.

This three-story 54,000 square foot expansion is build adjacent to the existing campus and will flow seamlessly and provide even further improvements to the existing patient care facilities. The development represents the next phase of Harrison’s master plan for the Silverdale campus that began with the opening of that facility in 2000.

Inspired by the area’s environment and Harrison’s architecture, the new building compliments the professional design of the existing hospital. The new hospital features four of the region’s most advanced operating rooms, specifically designed for the needs of the patient undergoing orthopaedic procedures. Patients and caregivers alike will appreciate the 24 spacious, private rooms, and the large, well-equipped in-patient and outpatient rehabilitative facilities. Plans even include an outdoor garden and rehab trail located on the building rooftop. Harrison is proud to continue to serve our community with exceptional health care, and the area’s most advanced orthopaedic services conveniently located close to home.

Coming Soon - More Green on the Clear Creek Trail
New landscaping is planned for Harrison's construction zones along the access road, within the parking lots, and areas nearest the Clear Creek Trail. To provide foliage that meets Kitsap County standards, native conifer trees, such as the Douglas Fir, are scheduled for replanting next planting season (March 2013). There will be signage placed on the affected areas of the trail and fencing surrounding the construction zone for the duration of the build, projected to end in September 2013.
