Detection & Diagnosis of Cancer

Prevention and early detection

The prevention and early detection of cancer equal survival. About 84 percent of cancers are preventable! Genetics load the gun, lifestyle pulls the trigger.

Preventing cancer with a healthy diet, exercise, not smoking, stress management, and plenty of sleep is the best strategy for a cancer-free life. Routine follow-up with your primary care provider and obtaining all of the age-appropriate cancer screenings recommended by the American Cancer Society will help prevent cancer or catch it early enough to treat it effectively.

Cancer may be diagnosed with imaging tests such as CT scans, MRIs, or PET scans, as well as blood tests and/or biopsies of skin tissue.

Our expert team of oncologists is specially trained to detect and diagnoses all forms of cancer.
