Loan Periods
Lending is open to Harrison Medical Center employees and affiliates:

Database Searching
The Frech Library staff offers expert MEDLINE and Internet search service and training. If you want to have searches run for you, require some assistance with your own searches, or need more in-depth training, do not hesitate to contact library staff.
Document Delivery
We supply journal articles from our collection within 24 hours of request during business days. We order other items for you from regional health science libraries with an average turnaround time of 4 days. Same-day fax service is available in emergencies. Document delivery is gratis to Harrison Hospital employees and affiliates; non-affiliated health professionals are responsible for all charges incurred by the document suppler. Charges are $12.00 or less per item.
All health professionals in Harrison's service area are elligable to enroll in the National Library of Medicine's Loansome Doc service for easy document ordering over the Internet.
All of the library's document delivery services comply with U.S. copyright laws.
Table of Contents Service
Many health professionals at Harrison Hospital take advantage of our Table of Contents Service and receive copies of the journal contents of their choice. After receiving contents, subscribers may select items for delivery to their desktop. Choose journals you would like to see regularly from our subject list.
A-V Equipment Scheduling
We store and schedule audio-visual equipment for use in the hospital. Available equipment includes: A Boxlight for projecting images from PCs, TV/VCRs, overhead projectors, slide projectors, video camera, flip charts, and CPR instructional materials.
