Buildings

Buildings

Buildings, rooms and areas at each location may be dedicated in the names of individuals, families, foundations or corporations.

To name a building, room or area, a donor must contribute at least 25 percent of the total construction cost of the building, needed equipment, and furnishings. Naming for components within an approved project (e.g., such as rooms or other distinct areas) will be determined on a case-by-case basis, but will generally total a percentage of an overall fundraising goal and leverage the ability to secure other major gifts for the approved project.

Projects and/or project components that are identified by potential donors but are not included in an approved Harrison budget or other funding plan will require at least 50 percent of the total construction cost of the building, needed equipment, and furnishings. Medical Center and Foundation Board review/approval will be required and consideration given to the feasibility of further philanthropic support and/or other means of project funding.

Naming opportunities involving buildings, rooms and areas must be approved by the Medical Center President/CEO and the Medical Center Board Executive Committee.
